Ryan gets his day

Rockingham Rugby Union Club player Ryan Tyrrell has made his debut for the Western Force taking the field in Saturdays clash with the Hurricanes in New Zealand.

With the Force heavily hit by injuries Ryan was one of four debutants to take the field in the 47-22 loss in Wellington. Although only a brief spell for Tyrrell he performed admirably in his first professional match, taking the field for the final 10 minutes.
Having taken the field in Saturdays match Ryan will now be elevated to a full Force contract following in the footsteps of club mate Kieran Longbottom who was also elevated to a full contract following an injury crisis at the Force.
